Getting Started: How To Create A Newsletter

After installing WP Responder on your blog, the first step to use it is create a newsletter.

Steps to create a newsletter

Having logged into your wordpress website as an administrator, do the following:

  1. Go to the [Newsletters] > Newsletter section of your WordPress Admin Panel.
  2. Click on Create Newsletter
  3. In the form that follows, fill out the Basic Information as shown in the image below:
  4. Customize the Confirmation E-mail template:If the subscriber subscribes using a dynamically generated subscription form (this feature is yet to be implemented. Not available in WP Responder 4.9.1) this e-mail template will be used. This is more of a backup. WP Responder keeps track of every subscription form it creates.

    So if someone subscribes using a subscription form that wasn’t generated from the Subscription Forms interface these e-mail templates will be used. For now customizing this template is.

    You might wonder how can someone subscribe using a form that wasn’t generated from the Subscription forms interface. It will be possible in later versions (4.9.1+).

  5. Customize the Subscription Confirmed E-mail template:
  6. Then click on the Create Newsletter button.
